How catalog changes are handled
Refreshing existing records and discovering new references are separate maintenance steps. New candidates and identity conflicts go through review before appearing in the public selection. A failed source request is not treated as proof that an item has disappeared.
This log records completed changes. It is not a live stock feed or a historical price tracker, and it does not imply that we purchased or inspected the products.
